Launched by the Johor Interior Designers’ Association (JIDA), the inaugural JIDA Design Awards (JIDA) offers emerging and experienced interior designers the opportunity to showcase their creativity and promote excellence in designing outstanding interior spaces. The JDA recognizes design teams who set new standards and push boundaries in interior design, transforming the spaces in which we live and work. Comprising 7 main categories, including Residential (High-rise), Residential (Landed) Workspace, 3D Conceptual, Hospitality, Retail and F&B/Entertainment, Gold and Silver awards are handed out in each of these bands. Design students were also invited to participate in the competition and vie for the Best Emerging Designer Award.Supported by the Johor Bahru Chinese Chamber Of Commerce & Industry (JBCCCI), the Johor Bahru Furniture Association (JBFA), Johor Master Builder Association (JMBA) and Raffles University Iskandar (RUI), JDA aspires to be the benchmark for international design excellence and the ultimate accolade for local talents.
