rafaelmiranti architects is a young architecture studio based in Tangerang. It was established in 2014 by Rafael Arsono &
Margareta Miranti, who had previously trained as architects at one of the reputable firms in Jakarta in Jakarta & Singapore such
as Han Awal & Partners Architects, CSYA Pte Ltd, Forwwerkz Architects & W-Architects. rafaelmiranti architects believes in the
clarity of ideas executed with rigorous planning and design in order to make good architecture. This attitude is adopted for each
project with respect to the specific context, site and the client’s needs. Each project is thoughtfully developed with a strong
emphasis on material study and exploration of local workmanship, always bearing in mind an approach that is suitable for each
idea. Working within the tropical context and dynamic urban conditions such as in Jakarta, they constantly seek a single broad
gesture that embodies complex programmes while allowing the architecture and users to interact with the local climate.
rafaelmiranti architects aims to have wide range of work at variety of scales. Both Rafael and Miranti are closely involved in
development of all projects, always with one of the partners leading the project. The practice currently operates in BSD City,
western suburban area of Jakarta.
